Vessel Overview.
All Scupper vessels are constructed using a vinylester & polyester tie layer GRP construction system, Hull and decks complete with liner are Gel coated prior to lay up. The integral hull and deck with internal liner, created a strong and ridged hull form. The wheel house is hand crafted from the highest grades of natural timbers, fitted windows are of toughened glass.
Scuppers are powered by an inboard Nanni diesel engine and propulsion is via a conventional shaft drive to a 4 blade bronze propeller. The machinery space is ac-cessed by a hinged hatch and the complete space is sound insulated.
Scuppers are built and engineered in the same like as larger vessels with features like Racor primary fuel filters, full engine instrumentation with alarms, start and house battery banks, hydraulic steering, SS2205 propeller shaft and rudder stock, solid stainless propeller guard. All deck fittings are stainless steel, chromed brass or bronze
