From our well-equipped Westhaven base, conveniently located next to the Pier21 hardstand facilities, MGE Marine offers a complete engineering service for commercial and recreational vessels. We’re part of MGE Engineering, a leading general engineering company that operates from purpose-built premises in East Tamaki. This connection means we can call on the highly specialised equipment and manufacturing capabilities of MGE Engineering whenever a job requires an innovative solution.
Most of our work involves diesel engines, drivelines and metal hulls. We also work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps and stabiliser systems. Through our connection with MGE Engineering, we can manufacture stainless fittings and rails, propeller shafts and rudders, stern gland and thrust bearing assemblies – in fact, almost any metal part on a boat.
In addition, we are distributors and service agents for Nanni and Isuzu marine diesel engines and Des-Case fuel filtration systems.
